Becky Guinn

Becky Guinn is a lifetime artist, completing her BS in Art Education from Carson-Newman College and, in addition to developing a strong career as an independent artist, she was an award-winning instructor of art for schools from preschool through high school. Her Masters in Curriculum and Technology was completed just months following quadruple amputations in 2003.

Becky soon returned to her high school art classroom for six more years before founding “Hooked on Art,” where she advocated for art education by traveling across the Southeast to teach art in schools.  She is a retired chair for the Alabama Art Education Association and presented for SNAE at NAEA conventions.  She continues to travel as a motivational speaker and pursue her passion for art. Though having experience with nearly every medium of visual arts, since losing her arms and legs, she has focused on perfecting her skill with watercolors.

Becky’s original designs, intense creativity, and excellence in color theory make her a valued collaborator for many clients of Shook & Guinn. Her work with non-profits, educators, people with disabilities, and religious organizations makes her a perfect addition to the team of any client with interest in these areas.
